Sorell Reads

The festival is part of the very first Tasmania Reads Week (TRW) festival being run at libraries around the state. TRW is part of the national campaign Australia Reads, celebrating the joy of stories, reading, writing and books.

The Sorell Reads Together Festival will bring together the Sorell community with a range of reading-related activities for people of all ages. Everyone is welcome!

Activities will include:

• author talks including special guests Charles Wooley and Meg Bignell
• craft and library activities like making bookmarks
• free BBQ
• Makebelieve Children’s Entertainment
• book chat group
• Sorell School Farm
• Big Book Swap and Sale
• local community organisation pop ups and stalls
• heaps more
