Community Workshop

Length: 45minutes
DESCRIPTION:
Do you see pictures in clouds? Do you see patterns on leaves? Do you sometimes have trouble finding your words when you have something important to say? Do you like to be outside or have you ever felt like an outsider? If you are outside in one way or another, take a breath, watch a cloud, feel a leaf, find a story. Come and take part in helping our Outside Boy decorate his story.
In conjunction with SEE’s newest touring work OUTSIDE BOY, we will be running workshops in each community to help create a rich map of the journey taken as we move around the state.
You can share your dreams, fears and wishes with the wind by decorating a kite; Or you can create a kaleidoscope, filled with collected natural treasures, which we will gather and provide along the way; Or paint your dreams with string.
Suitable for ages 5 to 105. Parents and guardians are to remain onsite with children at all times (and will be encouraged to join in if they are feeling creative!) Everyone will be expected to follow all covid safety requirements at all times, with courtesy and kindness.
Please wear clothing that is safe to get a little messy in. We will be using paint and glue.
Items that need to be shared will be handled by the workshop facilitator only or be cleaned between each use in line with covid safety requirements.
