- Orford & District Riding Club – Last Sunday of each Month
The Orford and District Riding Club meet on the last Sunday of every month at the Orford Cricket Ground starting around 9.30.
Anyone wishing to join in with us is welcome and are asked to please ring Sherry on 0427796096 to book in.
There is a $40.00 fee for the day this covers your instructor and insurance and for a further $5.00 your lunch is also provided.
The Pain Revolution Rural Outreach Tour is coming to Tasmania 16 – 23 March 2019
Pain Revolution (https://www.painrevolution.org/ ) is a movement charged with changing how people understand pain in rural and regional communities in Australia. If you or someone you love lives with persistent pain, or you are a health professional working with people living with persisting pain, you may be interested in learning more about the science behind why pain persists, and how people can recover from pain?
Pain Revolution Tour starts in Tasmania on 16 March 2019 with a rural outreach bike ride visiting Devonport, Burnie, Smithton, Launceston, Scottsdale, St Helen’s, Swansea, Hobart city, Glenorchy and Huonville and will provide free education events for community members and local health professionals.
Associated with the Bike Ride are Public events which will have a “Help Desk” where people in pain can visit prior to the educational events and talk with trained pain educators about their specific pain problems.
Locally the Public Event will be in Swansea
